Where the love of lifelong learning begins! 

My name is Janine Brizendine, and I have the privilege of having a job that is an adventure everyday.  I'm sure everyone can remember those happy, fun, carefree days of being a kid in kindergarten.  Imagine getting to do that for your job.  My passion for teaching young children to be independent thinkers and doers has allowed me to teach kindergarten and first grade for many, many years. Everyday my class and I get to read great stories, explore and solve math and scientific problems, learn about amazing new things, imagine and create through art, drama, music, and learn how to have meaningful friendships.  I hope your child will enjoy their exciting journey with me this year, and I hope you will be able to relive those wonderful kindergarten days with your child.
