Raise 80 Project Update

 Raise 80 Project Update The Caltrans project to raise the vertical clearance of nine overcrossings on Highway 80 is underway. The project is estimated to last six months and will impact seven overcrossings in the Loomis and Newcastle area. Holiday Home Tour Artists Needed

Holiday Home Tour Artists Needed Student Artists are invited to participate in the Holiday Home Tour art contest on December 13th. All students must be K through 8th Grade. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top six artists. Proceeds benefit local elementary schools. Please click on the above link for more information and to download the consent form. Art contest entries must be received no later than 3:00pm on December 4th, at your school site office.

LBEF Awards $35,000 in Matching Grant Funds to District Schools

LBEF Awards $35,000 in Matching Grant Funds to District Schools The LBEF in conjunction with district PTC organizations presented a total of $35,000 in matching grant funds to the seven district schools. This is the second year in a row that the LBEF has matched $5,000 raised by district PTC's to fund technology and visual and performance arts projects across the district. The partnership between the two groups is providing our students with great opportunities! Community support of LBEF events such as the MandaRUN, Holiday Home Tour and E-Waste Drive make this possible each year.

Loomis Grammar School, recognized by the State Department of Education as a California Distinguished School, is a high energy school with committed staff and parents. Student self-esteem is a high priority with many opportunities for students to be highlighted. The school enjoys a very stable community with values that support our many programs for students.
